Minister Bettie Citizen

Minister Citizen has devoted her life to God with a sincere desire to teach and preach the unadulterated word of God in spirit and truth.  Minister Citizen is also an intercessory prayer warrior interceding on behalf of those in need of prayer for healing, salvation, and deliverance for the called men and women of God and the nations.

Minister Citizen joined Power of Faith Church in 2005 under the leadership of Pastor Elliot Lawson and serves on the intercessory prayer team, women fellowship and preaching the word of God.

Minister Citizen was a member of Mountain Hope Community Worship Center in Tracy, CA under the leadership of Pastor Cynthia Chess for five years. And received her Minister License in 2017. Minister Citizen was on the Intercessory prayer team, taught new members classes, and also helped with the Church food pantry.

Minister Citizen was a member of San Jose Word of Faith Church in San Jose, CA for sixteen years under the leadership of Pastor Willie J. Nutt.  And received her Minister license in 2012. Minister Citizen taught adult bible study and children Church ages 5-8.

Minister Citizen has served as a volunteer Chaplain for Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. Also, a community Advocate for the VOIC (Victory Over Individual Challenges) a nonprofit outreach ministry in Tracy CA under the leadership of Dr. Cynthia Chess. For three years organized and supervised the thanksgiving and Christmas outreach functions.

Minister Citizen has a BS in Human Service and graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. She is in the process of starting the master’s program, and then on to the Doctorate program to obtain her Ph. D. She has a Medical Assistant Certificate from Bryman College in San Jose, CA. She is also in the process of writing her first book inspired by God. Minister Citizen is the mother of three daughters and two sons. She is a loving mother,grandmother and great-grandmother, and has two grandsons in the U.S. Air Force.

Minister Citizen loves to fish, study the word of God, and spend time with her Family.
