Prophetess Sierra Johnson-Teasley

Prophetess Sierra Johnson-Teasley, a native of Pahokee, Florida, hails from the serene Everglades of Palm Beach County. A proud graduate of Pahokee High School, she pursued higher education at the University of South Florida in Tampa for three years before transferring to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology and Psychology. Driven by a passion for excellence, Sierra furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Healthcare Management from Capella University in 2017. Currently, she is enrolled in Capella University's Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) program, specializing in Healthcare Leadership.

From an early age, Sierra’s spiritual foundation was cultivated at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Pahokee, where she was baptized at 12 years old. At 15, with her mother’s blessing, she joined Harvest African Methodist Episcopal Church, where her faith blossomed through active service. Sierra embraced numerous leadership roles, including YPD Choir President, Adult Choir President, Church School Superintendent, Junior and Adult Lay Board member, and Young Women’s Fellowship leader. Her involvement extended to committees such as Pastoral Care, Servanthood, and finance, as well as roles as a cheerleading coach, dance coach for the Judah Liturgical Dance Team, and local and district president of the Richard Allen Young Adult Council (R.A.Y.A.C.). Her dedication to these ministries continued until she transitioned out of the AME Church at age 29.

In 2017, Sierra relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, following a job promotion. Two years later, she discovered Elevation Church through a coworker and became a member on September 8, 2019. In 2024, she fully embraced God’s call and was ordained into ministry. With the merger of Elevation Church and Power of Faith Church, Prophetess Sierra now serves as an Associate Pastor at Power of Faith, where she also ministers on the Praise Team.

Prophetess Sierra Johnson-Teasley’s journey is marked by unwavering faith, dedicated service, and a heart for leadership. As she continues to walk in her divine calling, she remains committed to glorifying God and advancing His Kingdom. The rest of her story is still unfolding, and she eagerly anticipates the plans God has for her future.
