The Word

The word is a way of communicating with one another; verbally or in a writing format. Or we can say a word is a unit of speech by which we express ourselves to one another. But I want to talk to you about another kind of word, (John 1:1,14). Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Make up your mind.
Matthew 12:34 0 generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Jesus is rebuking the Pharisees because they hypocritically claimed to be good when the fruit of their life was bad. Jesus wants us to keep our attitude, action, and words consistently good. We should watch our thoughts, because they become our words, watch our words, because they become our actions, watch our actions, because they become our habits, watch our habits, because they become our character, and watch our character because it becomes our destiny.
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Here Jesus is saying what is in the heart comes out of the mouth. If Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance are in you it will come out of you. And I believe the bible says against such there is no law.
Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle-word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
The words that we speak are an accurate gauge of our life. When you give your opinion, you’re giving your lifestyle and when you take someone's opinion you’re taking their lifestyle.
Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Remember it is the word’s that we speak from our mouth that determines the outcome of our life. Satan wants to be our father, he wants us to speak of him to give Praise to what he has done in our life.
Conclusion: It is doing the true word that releases God’s power. Jesus said if I be lifted, I will draw all men unto me. John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
